We Are
The Health Science Career
Pathway Advocates
The Health Science Career Pathway Advocates - an ambitious initiative born in 2019 to bridge the healthcare gap in California's Mother Lode region. Led by a dedicated group of school and business leaders, we strive to provide career pathway opportunities in the health sciences.
Our Mission
To bridge the healthcare gap and alleviate shortages by providing a nurturing platform that empowers students to explore, excel, and embark on successful career journeys in the health sciences. We strive to build comprehensive career pathway programs that fuel the aspirations of our youth.
Our Vision
We aspire to be the catalyst for change, igniting a passion for healthcare careers within the hearts of young minds. We are interested with working with our local high schools to create a seamless educational journey, empowering students to discover their true potential in the health sciences.

MEET THE TEAM
While at Vallejo City Unified, Rick and his team were able to return the district to solvency and instituted numerous changes at the elementary and secondary level that significantly improved student achievement and reduced the dropout rate. At the high school level, working with teachers and principals the school district successfully implements the a to g course of study, established freshman houses on each campus and implemented a career academies program for juniors and seniors. Local authority was returned to the school district in 2013.

Health Pathway Advocates is very rewarding. It gives the opportunity to stay active in education and at the same time contribute to the well being of the community.
